If you've got a question about booking a tour with Chubby Fellow, chances are the answer is right here. But don't worry, you can always contact us if it isn't!

What is a Food Tour?
Chubby Fellow’s London food tours take you to the best eating spots and watering holes in town. Imagine a walking tour, however replace most of the long list of dates and names with delicious food (and drink!) making a truly indulgent foo experience. Pick from one of our Ready-Made food tours or opt for a Personalised food experience then Chubby Fellow is at your service to ensure you have smiles on your faces and bellies filled with delicious food by the end of your tour. You’ll also get an insight into the area along the way and a true local insight into the area with fun facts and bits of local gossip.
How long is each food tour?
Our London and Edinburgh food tours are normally around 2.5 - 3.5 hours long, however if you opt for a personalised food tour then it is completely up to you! We will discuss how long you want your experience to be beforehand and adapt it to your group's needs.
Are Chubby Fellow food tours suitable for vegetarians?
Yes! Just let us know if you have any vegetarians (or vegans!) beforehand and we will absolutely do our best to ensure their alternative food items are just as delicious. If your whole group is vegetarian or vegan then why not check out our personalised tours and we can create a mouth watering vegetarian food tour just for you!
How much will we eat/drink?
During a Chubby Fellow food tour that lasts approximately 3 hours, you will indulge in the equivalent of a very large meal (starters, mains, desserts and more!) therefore we suggest that you come hungry! If you are opting for a shorter or longer duration on a Personalised food experience then this may differ.
How much is a food tour?
Prices for our Ready-Made food tours are between £80 - £140 per person and depend on the size of your group. Our Personalised food tours start at £120 per person and range up to £250 per person, also depending on how many are in the group, where the experience is taking place and what food & drink will be on the experience.
Where do we meet? / Where does the experience end?
The meeting spot will depend on the area that the experience takes place. All experiences begin and end close to tube or train stations.
What time does it start?
It’s up to you! On our website you can book our Ready-Made food tours at their specific times however if that doesn’t work for you, feel free to send an enquiry and we can begin the experience at a different time. Furthermore, for our personalised food experiences it is your choice what time it begins, it just needs to fit in with appropriate hours for the venues, locations and markets.
What is the maximum number of guests you can take?
We do not have an exact maximum as we will always try our best to host you (I have done tours for 50+ guests before!) However it would depend on a few facts, the time, date, amount of people and what it is you want. Luckily we have other fantastic tour guides who are on hand to help out.
What is included?
All the food & drink throughout the experience is included in the cost per person.
Can I ask to make amendments to my experience?
Yes. Feel free to contact us at any point to discuss any amendments you may want made and we will do our best to accommodate these. You can even get in touch and we'll make you a completely custom food tour to suit all your preferences.
Is there a lot of walking?
This is a food experience, not a walking tour therefore we never like to include too much walking as for us it is all about the food and drink! However there may be short walks in between venues and past some of the cultural sights in the area. If you have walking restrictions in your group then feel free to mention this prior to the experience and we can aim to come up with a solution that suit you.
Can I purchase it as a gift for somebody?
Yes! We think our London food experiences are the perfect gift idea. Just head to our Gift Vouchers page.
Can under 18s attend the tour?
For food and drinks experiences this should usually be fine. If you are booking a predominantly beverage based tour experience in the evening then this may not be possible as bars and pubs may have restrictions for under 18s.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed during your experience. Comfy footwear is always a plus however you may be required to wear smarter footwear if attending an evening beverage experience. This also goes for tracksuits and hoodies for evening experiences.
Can I cancel my booking?
We understand that plans sometimes change, therefore if you cannot attend your confirmed experience then we may be able to offer credit depending on the circumstances arrange a later date. We can offer a refund if cancelling a minimum of 14 days prior to the experience, excluding a 20% deposit included in all bookings for tours. This 20% covers all work done, planning and loss of business leading up to the experience
